Urenco is a global leader in low carbon energy. The Project Controls Standards Manager ensures consistent standards and effective project controls across our portfolio.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a subject matter expert in project controls, focusing on cost management and reporting.
- Lead project management when required, challenging resistance and making tough decisions for the function.
- Develop project support resources and maintain subject matter expertise.
- Align business objectives with project control standards, approving deviations and exceptions.
- Mature existing processes and introduce new policies, training, system integration, planning, risk and estimating.
- Scan international market for best practice, analysing developments and applying them to Urenco.
What you need to thrive:
- Relevant qualification and evidence of project management acumen.
- Experience managing change and overcoming resistance.
- Demonstrable experience working within the entire project lifecycle.
- A proven background in a project controls management role or aligned job family.
- Flair for shaping and leading cost management and reporting processes.
- Experience mentoring, training and managing integration of new processes and procedures.
- Strong authority and sound advice within a wide remit.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, MS Project and reporting software.
