Electrical QA/QC Inspector in North West London

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Ensure that all electrical works adhere to project specifications, design drawings, and international standards.

• Perform inspections of electrical installations, including regular testing of electrical systems, ensuring that they meet safety and operational standards.

• Review project documents such as method statements, inspection test plans, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Verify that all electrical work complies with local regulations, client standards, and contractual requirements collaborating with third-party inspectors when necessary.

• Identify and document any issues or defects in electrical works in collaboration with the construction team and contractors to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.

• Actively participate in safety inspections and promote a safe working environment ensuring all electrical works meet Health & Safety regulations.

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions providing regular QA/QC reports and summaries to project managers and senior stakeholders.

• Work closely with contractors and electrical engineers to resolve quality issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to approved installation procedures.

• Participate in the final commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring that all tests and inspections are successfully completed, and that the system is fully operational before handover.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector within large scale construction/engineering.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.

• Experience with inspection tools, electrical testing equipment, and reporting software.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to generate clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
