The Client: My client is a privately owned, well established and reputable company based in Tockwith.
The Role: They now require an experienced Administrator to join their existing logistics team on a full-time, permanent basis. An immediate start is available for the right candidate. Covering a wide range of administrative duties, key responsibilities of the Administrator include:
- Progressing orders.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers.
- Printing collection and delivery notes.
- Booking transport.
- Booking orders into Sage.
- Assisting with stock takes in the warehouse.
- Counting and checking items upon receipt into warehouse to ensure they are as the PO.
- Preparing fabric to go abroad and raising relevant documents, i.e. commercial invoice, packing list.
- Booking couriers.
- Helping to organise product modifications where required.
Administrator Specification: The ideal Administrator:
- MUST have experience in a similar role, carrying out similar duties.
- Experience of import/export paperwork would be desirable, (but not essential).
- Experience using SAGE would be desirable, (but not essential).
- Will have great communication skills, verbal and written.
- Will be able to work to deadlines.
- Will have solid IT skills, Word and Excel.
As a small business, it is essential that you are prepared to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and get stuck in when required, i.e. help unload a vehicle, measure fabric in a warehouse that can be cold! Own transport is essential due to location.
