Job Details: * £24K * Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 08.30am – 5.00pm * 25 days plus bank holidays * Private medical insurance * Life insurance * Income protection insurance * 6% employer pension contribution * Discretionary company performance bonus Client Details: My client is a well-established and progressive services provider. Based in modern offices, the company provides a supportive working environment, evidenced by the length of service of existing employees. Job Description: Initially, the main purpose of the Accounts, (Tax) Apprentice is to provide support to the Tax Advisory team. As experience, knowledge and confidence grows, you will undertake further tax related duties, and following qualification to ATT, you will take on and manage your own portfolio of clients, alongside your colleagues, becoming a key part of the tax department. You will gain significant experience and knowledge of personal taxation including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. You will also become familiar with trust taxation, trust accounts and the trust registration service. You will gain a simple understanding of company taxation, VAT and National insurance. Apprenticeship: You will study alongside your work for the technician tax qualification ATT – Association of Taxation Technicians. Further support may be provided to further your studies by working towards the highly respected CTA qualification – Chartered Tax Advisor.
