Annual salary – £25,000 – £42,500 pa FTE, depending on qualifications and experience. (As a guide: AAT level 3 salary for FTE £25k to £35k or AAT level 4 £30k to £42.5k.)
25 hours per week (flexible, including occasional evenings and weekends). There may be scope for this to be extended.
We are seeking to employ a finance officer (AAT level 3 or higher) as part of our Resources team to support the life and work of the United Reformed Church in the Eastern Synod.
The employer would be the United Reformed Church (Eastern Province) Trust, which is a registered charity that acts as a Property Holding Trustee for church property and investments of churches within the Eastern Synod of The United Reformed Church. The Eastern Synod encompasses Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and parts of Hertfordshire. It is a Christian organisation that acts as an umbrella or resource body and makes grants to individuals and organisations.
Office based, with some working from home permissible, and a full driving licence as occasional travel around the Synod is a desirable requirement.
