Role Summary
Lead the Learning and Development function to design and deliver behavioural and leadership learning offers for Head Office, Retail and our Peterborough Distribution Centre. Partner with key HR and business stakeholders by consulting, engaging and supporting them on centralised and bespoke development initiatives. Manage a team of 2 L&D Advisors to deliver key L&D Roadmap initiatives.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Work with the Human Resources Director to develop a Learning & Development strategy for Head Office, Retail & DC teams
- Conduct a training needs analysis with key HR and Brand stakeholders to build strategic programmes across HO, Retail & DC
- Scope, design, pilot and deliver the \’core\’ training offer for the HO, Retail & DC populations using a blended learning approach
- Initiate and implement ad hoc and bespoke projects to further develop brand capabilities and drive the business forward
- Actively oversee the Head Office, Retail & PFC training calendars
- Design new training modules and oversee any amendments to training materials e.g. onboarding, leadership programmes, bitesize behavioural sessions etc.
- Collaborate with North America counterparts to share content and initiatives e.g. intranet content, UKG/LMS content alignment
- Partner with HR to drive learning activity e.g., the mentorship programme, induction & onboarding
- Use L&D budget to make sure all levels of the business are receiving timely and relevant development opportunities
- Build strong, credible working relationships with HR and key stakeholders in the Brands and Shared Services
- Sharing expertise and knowledge of external learning and development trends
What You\’ll Need
- High level business partnering
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational management
- Commercial understanding of Retail and HO team\’s development needs
- Natural coach with strong active listening skills and ability to identify stakeholder needs
- Experience in delivering a blended learning environment including: virtual training and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training, and on-the-job training/mentoring
- Able to engage all audiences and inspire a culture of learning and constant improvement
- Innovative and creative problem solving approach
- Strong project management skills
- Experience of working with an LMS and learning platforms
- Psychometric certification such as MBTI or Insights would be desirable.
- Coaching qualification would be desirable
