Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Trading & CRO Assistant to support the continuous optimisation of our digital business. This role plays a key part in driving discoverability and conversion through effective site trading, search and navigation optimisation, and performance analysis. Working closely with the Merchandising team, you will help ensure site content is fresh, relevant, and aligned with trading priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- CRO execution
- Brief monthly site content updates to the Merchandising team and support ongoing optimisations
- Review and optimise site navigation and customer journeys in collaboration with Merchandising
- Optimise on‑site search dropdowns and search results to improve discoverability
- Support page‑level optimisation opportunities, including algorithm weighting and personalisation enhancements
- Ensure site content is up to date and aligned with trade and campaign priorities (including banners, inline content slots, footers, and callouts)
- Conduct daily site walks to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience
- Support daily performance reporting and provide additional insights where required
- Pull insights and performance updates for weekly trade meetings
- Report on page performance, identifying optimal landing pages and new opportunities
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support trading decisions
- Monitor competitor promotional activity and highlight relevant trends and opportunities
- Track international site performance and flag key insights
What You'll Need
- Must come from a similar online trading/merchandising background & have experience within Ecommerce
- Strong problem‑solving skills; expected to be able to identify creative solutions
- Ability to think and work effectively under pressure with excellent communication and planning skills
- Self‑motivated with ability to demonstrable problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Personal qualities: High level of personal energy to drive projects to completion
- Positive and enthusiastic with a can‑do attitude, and a focus on solving problems
