We are seeking a creative, research-driven and visually articulate Urban Designer to join our team in London. As an Urban Designer, you will work closely with our chartered town planners and architects, with the autonomy to develop ideas and make decisions throughout the design development and planning process. You will join our small and friendly Greenwich-based practice, working on diverse and ambitious projects ranging from high-end refurbishments to new-build housing schemes in London and across the UK. We are seeking a creative, research-driven and visually articulate Urban Designer with strong spatial, analytical, design and graphic skills, and an exceptional eye for detail. You should be confident in site analysis, masterplanning, planning policy research, development strategy and graphic presentation, as well as preparing Design & Access Statements and Planning Statements. We are a multidisciplinary practice combining architecture, planning, interior design and urban design. Our structure provides the expertise, resources and opportunities of a larger architecture firm while retaining the close involvement and personal atmosphere of a smaller practice. This creates an environment where talent can develop, thrive and be appreciated. Our open-plan office encourages this day-to-day exchange, and the role is therefore predominantly office-based, with limited remote working. If you take pride in your work, perform well within an ambitious team and are committed to quality and productivity, we want to hear from you. Strictly no recruitment agencies.
