Salary: Competitive plus benefits.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. General Manager will work 5 out of 7 days in a week. You may be scheduled to work weekends on a rota basis. You will be scheduled to work between 7:30am - 8:00pm.

We’re looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead operations and deliver an exceptional student living experience. This role is pivotal in driving performance, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring our community reflects the highest standards of safety, service, and brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Vision: Inspire and lead your team, translating company strategy into actionable goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and a best-in-class resident experience.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and P&L performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Team Development: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team.
  • Resident & Stakeholder Engagement: Champion outstanding service and maintain strong relationships with university partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to enhance performance and adapt to changing needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure full adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear and consistent communication across the community teams and with Head Office support teams. Regularly analyse key performance indicators (e.g. occupancy, PassTab, PowerBi, CMS, NPS, Hive survey results) and take action to address underperformance.
