Midweight Interior Designer – High-End Residential
A renowned and design-led interior architecture studio based in central London is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer to join their team, working across some of the most exclusive and luxurious residential projects in the UK and internationally. Known for delivering refined, tailored environments that blend timeless elegance with contemporary sophistication, the studio operates at the highest level of design, collaborating with discerning private clients and respected global partners.

The Role:
We are looking for a confident and highly creative Midweight Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience in the luxury residential sector. The successful candidate will be working full-time from the studio in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to all stages of the design process—from concept through to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and delivery of high-end residential interiors, working closely with senior designers and associates.
- Prepare and present mood boards, concepts, and design presentations to internal teams and clients.
- Contribute to the development of drawing packages, FF&E specifications, and schedules.
- Source, specify, and coordinate FF&E selections, managing supplier relationships and sample libraries.
- Work confidently with Photoshop, AutoCAD, and InDesign to produce high-quality visuals, drawings, and layouts.
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure a seamless design execution.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all project stages, ensuring a polished, professional outcome aligned with the studio’s signature design language.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience working in a high-end residential design studio or similar environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept design, FF&E specification, and technical drawing skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign ; knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is advantageous.
- Strong FF&E knowledge, with hands-on experience managing procurement and installations.
- Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal, with the ability to confidently present ideas to clients and team members.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach and the ability to manage workload effectively under pressure.
