We are currently recruiting for a Sales Development Manager to join our Birmingham team. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers hands-on experience in sales, while actively training you to take on leadership and management responsibilities within the business. As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll work directly on face-to-face marketing campaigns, representing high-profile brands and engaging with customers in their homes. Alongside this, you’ll receive structured development in key areas of people management, campaign strategy, and business operations, preparing you for a future leadership role within the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, driven, and eager to grow into a management position while learning the foundations of direct sales and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution
- Represent client brands through face-to-face marketing campaigns
- Deliver tailored product or service information to potential customers
- Build rapport and create positive customer experiences
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
- Learn how to coach, mentor, and support new team members
- Participate in daily team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews
- Take on increasing responsibility for team motivation, performance tracking, and field support
- Develop the ability to lead a small team, support goal-setting, and contribute to team success
- Assist in planning and executing residential campaigns
- Provide feedback to campaign managers on customer trends and campaign performance
- Support recruitment and onboarding efforts as part of leadership development
- Contribute ideas to improve campaign strategy and customer engagement
