Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. Situated opposite Brockwell Park and a short walk from Herne Hill station, The Prince Regent is a stunning Victorian pub with an ornate exterior and a statue of its namesake. Inside, traditional wood panelling creates a cosy charm, while ample outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days. Offering a seasonal menu, local brews, fine wines, expertly crafted cocktails, and a Sunday roast worth the wait.
The Role
As GM you will take full ownership of all aspects of running the venue. You will be given autonomy and run the site as if it were your own business. Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction. You have impeccable floor, bar and late night experience knowledge.
What we are looking for:
- Take ownership, be bold and run the business as if it's your own.
- Must have minimum 2 years' experience as a general manager.
- Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable.
- Superb customer & floor service skills.
- Excellent all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction.
- A passion for training, mentoring, and growing a team.
- Personal License holder beneficial.
