With an eclectic mix of properties and new openings to suit your personality and style, this really is an exciting time to join a people focused and progressive operations led business.
Only 20 minutes from the city, The Red Lion is an eclectic, warm, and welcoming public house which has been serving locals since around 1870.
Our 10 bedroom boutique hotel places an emphasis on vintage glamour with decorative wallpapers, antique furniture and luxurious fabric to guarantee an enjoyable stay with us. Our gorgeous antique ballroom provides a perfect setting for weddings, birthdays or big parties, while our secret beer garden is great for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a selection of dishes from our kitchen ranging from pub classics to a banging Sunday roast.

The Role
- As Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business.
- Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial understanding.
- Your team will look up to you, it\’s essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
- This role would also suit an aspiring Supervisor looking for their first Assistant Manager position as you will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
