The Wren Tavern is a pub with a difference; offering dining and a secret whiskey vault. It's the perfect place for meetings and lunches or after work drinks. Our basement bar hosts a speakeasy cocktail bar called 5cc serving artisan cocktails, ideal for parties and events.
As Deputy General Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business. Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial acumen. Your team will look up to you; it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction. You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow. Create the magic by ensuring you and your team are having fun.
What we are looking for:
- Wear your heart on your sleeve, take ownership, be bold and run the business as if it’s your own.
- Be cool, calm and collected, manage pressure with ease; nothing can phase you.

- Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager depending on the property being looked at.
- Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable.
- Superb customer & floor service skills.
- Strong all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction.

- Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun.
