Are you looking for a new challenge? An opportunity to join our People Team & Payroll is now available within our Head Office based in Central London. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and offer a helping hand with the smooth running of our weekly payroll for over 1000 employees. Urban Pubs & Bars are proud to run some of London's most exciting and diverse pubs, bars and restaurants.

Who you are:

  • Great interpersonal skills to build-up relationships with General Managers & Head Chefs to help drive the business forward.
  • Have an understanding of how hospitality rostering works and is reported.
  • Flexible, adaptable and open to change.
  • Well organised with time management skills.
  • Focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Keen team player.
  • Confident daily use of Microsoft Excel.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting and supporting the Payroll Team in processing of the weekly payroll for our 67 sites (and still growing) company at Urban Pubs & Bars.
  • Support with onboarding of new sites and maintain updated personnel records within S4 Labour.
  • Liaising & organising rota data on S4 Labour including setting up temporary transfers for our site management to help record accurate wage reporting.
  • Meet deadlines for Monday EOW by providing 1st line support for payroll queries & assisting with onboarding new starters via online platforms.
  • Provide Holiday Reports and have an understanding in employee annual leave entitlement.
  • Maintain accurate weekly reporting as per Company Tipping Policy 2024.
  • Maintain updated personal records on Sage People Payroll.
  • Meet deadlines on time for weekly payment.
