This is an exciting opportunity for an Experiential Marketing Assistant to join our Creative Marketing team here at Urban Outfitters EU! The successful candidate will oversee the development of brand events and activations, working closely with retail, creative and marketing functions to ensure effective planning and delivery of multiple events and activation of varying size and budget throughout the year. We are looking for someone who embodies the values and ethos of Urban Outfitters and who can drive the delivery of events, activations and cultural moments across the UO portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a mouthpiece for youth culture and be actively engaged in current trends which are connected with today’s youth market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in concepting, programing and delivery of Urban Outfitters brand events and activations across the store portfolio including all elements of event production.
  • Support all stores in delivery of local store led events and activations including concepting new local event programs.
  • Work across and support all static activations e.g. store galleries, store photobooths, concessions and UO Marketplace program.
  • Support in the delivery of internal events and activations e.g. yearly conference.
  • Produce plans, concepts and creative proposals for event/activations and event/activation programs.
  • Ad hoc general marketing duties.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrable experience concepting, producing and delivering events and activations at scale.
  • Project management experience and skills including logistics management, vendor sourcing and briefing.
  • Experience and understanding of events licensing and risk assessment processes and budget management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong ability to manage logistical processes and budgets, overseeing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • The ability to think creatively, producing new processes, ideas and approaches relating to events and activations.
  • Strong collaboration across internal and external teams building strong relationships.

Desirable

  • Experience working in or on music events.
  • Experience working on events in France, Germany and/or Spain.
  • Language skills; French, German, Spanish would be a bonus.
