Role Summary: This role will play a vital role in the execution of Urban Outfitters social media channels across Europe. Assisting across all key areas of social output, this role will be involved in concept ideation, content creation, briefing, and scheduling across multiple platforms (paid and organic). This role will be highly collaborative with a keen eye for detail and a forward-thinking approach to social, culture and what makes followers hit the ‘share’ button.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for day-to-day scheduling and posting of all UO EU social media channels including UO TikTok, IG, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the Brand Social Lead, talent, copy and graphics department to ensure smooth running of weekly schedules including captions, shoppable links, tags and creative across all planned and reactive content.
- Work with the wider team to develop, create and execute exciting social first campaigns.
- Monthly video creation and editing across key programmes.
- Conduct weekly research to proactively raise social trends, platform changes and new formats.
- Support copy team with community management across all key channels, liaising with customer services and escalating comments to wider PR and marketing teams where appropriate.
- Support with daily, monthly and ad hoc social reporting to ensure close monitoring of team KPIs.
- Support with paid ad set-up across TikTok, IG and PIN.
- Support with the Brand Social Lead and partner closely with digital teams, creatives and agencies to brief and deliver seasonal and monthly activations from end-to-end including overseeing wireframes (copy, translations and final delivery).
- Partner closely with Brand Lead on monthly and quarterly content processed to provide effective social media briefing and scheduling – this includes collaborating closely with buying, promo, events and partnerships to ensure we deliver against key brand and commercial priorities.
- Attend campaign shoots, events and live activations to support with content creation, editing and live posting / streaming as required.
- Channel management includes evenings and weekends where needed.
- Closely monitors micro and macro social trends, proactively forecasting and pitching opportunities for growth including jumping on reactive shoot opportunities.
- Admin support: invoices, boosting trackers, quarterly reporting, PCAs and channel strategies.
What you’ll need:
- Demonstrable sound understanding of social, including platform nuances, cultural / trend shifts and evolution of user behaviour in both paid and organic environments.
- Proficient in social analytics.
- Project management skills including organisation, forward thinking, attention to detail and effective communication.
- Content creation skills, including knowledge of the latest shooting and editing tools.
- Ability to display a true appreciation of how to position the Urban brand to our core consumer.
- You are a collaborator and can demonstrate teamwork.
- High level of creativity and ability to work independently.
