Founded in 1992, Pennsylvania, USA, by current URBN chairman and president Dick Hayne, Anthropologie was named after his college major (with a decidedly French twist) Anthropologie, which now operates over 200 stores worldwide, has evolved into a leading one-of-a-kind destination for those seeking a curated mix of clothing, accessories, gifts and home décor to reflect their personal style. In 2009 the brand launched its first store in London and now has over 18 stores in the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a creative, culturally aware Social Content Creator to help bring the Anthropologie EU brand to life across social channels. We're looking for someone who understands social-first storytelling, has a strong eye for aesthetics and is deeply immersed in fashion, internet culture, and the evolving social landscape. You'll play a key role in developing engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, supporting everything from campaign storytelling and product launches to community engagement and cultural moments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating content that truly connects with our audience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Content Creation & Creative Development
    • Create and capture engaging social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging platforms.
    • Build recurring content formats and storytelling frameworks that create recognizable, returnable moments for our audiences; not just one-off viral swings.
    • Develop a test-and-learn culture that's rooted in brand integrity: experiment boldly, but always with intention.
    • Work with Buying partners to understand what's being sold, what stories are worth telling, and how products can be brought to life in ways that feel editorial rather than transactional.
    • Partner with Creative teams to translate campaign direction, brand identity, and visual language into socially native content that doesn't feel like a repurposed campaign asset.
    • Align with Marketing partners on broader brand moments, key launches, and seasonal priorities, ensuring social storytelling ladders up to business goals without losing its cultural edge.
    • Support the development of content that operates across three lenses simultaneously: brand identity, cultural relevance and commerce.
    • Lead & assist cross functionally with content shoots, including content capture, styling support, talent direction and on-set content creation.
    • Edit video and static content for social channels including paid, ensuring assets are optimized for platform performance and audience engagement.
    • Support the development of recurring content series and social storytelling formats that build audience connection over time.
  • Paid Social
    • Drive the development of content specifically for Paid Social and Digital Marketing channels, ensuring all assets are designed not just for organic engagement but for measurable business outcomes.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Cost Per Session (CPS), and use these metrics to inform and optimize creative decisions on content.
    • Use data from Paid team to inform content decisions moving forward.
  • Trend, UGC & Competitor Research
    • Monitor emerging social trends, platform updates, trending audio and evolving content formats. Identify culturally relevant opportunities that align with the Anthropologie brand and audience.
    • Conduct competitor and industry research to identify opportunities, best practices and content inspiration.
    • Source and organise UGC inspiration, creator references and platform-native content ideas to support the wider social team.
    • Monitor audience sentiment and provide feedback on emerging conversations, trends and customer interests.
  • Content Planning & Social Operations
    • Support content planning, scheduling and publishing across social channels where required.
    • Assist the Social Media Executive with social reporting by identifying key learnings.
    • Help maintain content calendars and ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with key business priorities.
    • Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce and Retail teams to support social storytelling across the customer journey.
  • Shoot & Production Support
    • Support shoot preparation, on-set logistics, budgets and sample management.
    • Assist with content tracking, asset selection and post-shoot organisation.
    • Support content capture opportunities during events, launches, store openings and brand activations.
    • Help organise and maintain content libraries for future use across channels including paid.
