We are seeking a Freelance Illustrator for our Homeware Buying team. The role involves translating lifestyle trends and illustration briefs into prints, graphics, and hand‑drawn illustrations for a wide range of home and lifestyle products.
Responsibilities
- Concept Illustration – create original artwork, prints, and surface patterns for categories such as textiles, ceramics, tableware, bedding, and stationery.
- Collaboration – work with Buyers and Product Designers to interpret trend briefs, mood boards, and color palettes.
- Tech Packs & Preparation – prepare final, print‑ready digital artwork files with accurate repeats and color separations for suppliers.
- Product Mock‑ups – produce 2D CAD or vector mock‑ups to visualize designs on actual products before production.
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating commercial and original artwork for home and lifestyle products; include hand‑rendered and digital styles, and novelty/gimmick graphics.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator). Procreate skills are a bonus.
