What the job involves

  • Support the daily operational functions across the Womenswear Buying team
  • Develop key cross-functional relationships with both internal and external partners in the head office in both the US and the UK
  • Order Support: Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, attributes and delivery timelines for all WINT classes
  • Sample Management: Organise, track and maintain all product samples; support Buying, Visual merchandising and Marketing pull-outs and sign off rails
  • Sends out packages where required and manages the sample library organisation
  • Collaborates with the Studio to ensure product is shot for our website and live on time
  • Critical Path Tracking: Monitor the critical path and ensure deadlines are met across product development, approvals and deliveries
  • Fit sessions: Join weekly fit sessions, communicate comments with suppliers and manage samples
  • Supplier Communication: Liaise with suppliers and vendors daily to ensure timely delivery, sample requests, and accurate product information
  • Competitor Research: Conduct regular competitor and market research to identify emerging trends and price positioning
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general admin support to the buying team including meeting preparation, digital range packs and rail management
  • Sales Reporting: Assist with Monday trade meeting preparation and contribute insights into product performance and customer preferences
  • Range building: Once settled into the team, manage an area of product within the department alongside the Senior Buyer, Design and Planning team
