Future Home Claims Handler Talent Pool

We’re always on the lookout for passionate and talented claims professionals to join our growing team and help us transform the insurance industry. Over the past few years, we’ve brought our Home claims function in-house and built our own technology to help us deliver a game-changing claims experience for our customers.

As a Home Claims Handler at Urban Jungle, you’d play a crucial role in scaling our in-house claims function and delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers. You’d manage your own portfolio of claims from first notification through to settlement, while also helping us improve the way we handle claims as we grow.

You’d work closely with our TPA partners and teams across Urban Jungle, with plenty of opportunity to use your technical expertise to improve processes, solve problems and shape the future of our claims proposition.

Here’s what you'll get up to:

• You’d manage your own portfolio of Home claims from FNOL through to settlement, delivering accurate, efficient and positive outcomes for customers.
• You’d work directly with our TPA partners, reviewing claim referrals and helping ensure they deliver strong performance and outcomes.
• You’d help improve our claims processes and SLAs, identifying opportunities to make things more efficient for both our customers and the business.
• You’d use your claims expertise to help scale our in-house claims operation as we continue to bring more of the claims journey in-house.
• You’d work cross-functionally with teams including Product, Underwriting and Engineering, helping shape the claims experience and improve how we serve customers.
• You’d have the opportunity to influence how we do things as we grow, rather than simply following processes that already exist.

We’re looking for technically strong, customer-focused claims professionals who want to have a real impact and help shape how a modern insurance business handles claims.

• You have at least 18 months’ experience working in personal lines claims, ideally within Home Insurance.
• You’re confident applying your technical claims knowledge and enjoy helping customers through what can be a difficult process.
• You’re excited by the opportunity to help scale a claims function and bring more of the claims value chain in-house.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can explain things clearly and empathetically to customers.
• You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and motivated by learning and continuous improvement.
• You’re a problem solver who enjoys finding better ways of doing things rather than simply following the status quo.
• You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with different teams to solve complex problems.
• You’re passionate about delivering a great customer experience and understand the importance of putting the customer first.
• You treat everyone with integrity, respect and kindness - whether it’s your colleagues, our customers, or our partners.
