The Role:
As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of our busy venue. You’ll support the General Manager in leading the team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across the venue, ensuring a seamless experience from opening to close.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service, food, and drinks.
- Manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment with professionalism and confidence.
- Ensure the venue maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
- Use and manage booking systems efficiently to maximise capacity and customer satisfaction.
- Support staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Confidently make decisions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
About You:
- Proven experience in managing or assisting in a high-volume hospitality venue (bar, restaurant, or leisure setting).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, positive approach.
- Excellent understanding of customer service excellence.
- Comfortable working with booking and POS systems.
- Organised, reliable, and confident under pressure.
- A genuine passion for golf and good understanding of the game — you don’t need to be a pro, but you should love the sport and its culture.
