We are seeking recent graduates and individuals in the upper year(s) of an ecology-related MSc/BSc degree to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis during the busy 2026 ecological survey season (April-October). The role will be central to fulfilling protected species project deliverables in our busy field work schedule. You will possess good personal and time management skills and operate well in an environment of client-led priorities.
We work in sectors including residential, commercial, education and renewable energy developments, transport infrastructure and local development planning. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a budding ecologist looking for hands-on experience in conducting protected species surveys. You will be based at our stunning South Downs office location, a 10-minute drive from Brighton, with a lovely bunch of friendly and helpful colleagues.
- Qualified or qualifying to degree level or equivalent in ecology or a related discipline
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately to internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and through written communication
- A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role as is the flexibility to work away on site when required
- Membership within the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) or similar professional institute is desirable

Salary: £24,784.50 per annum FTE. We are a National Living Wage employer.
