This is a rare opportunity to step directly into the commercial side of property transactions, working in-house for a highly successful property investor with 40+ years of experience across residential investments, back-to-back deals and opportunistic acquisitions. This is not a law firm environment. There’s no hierarchy, no layers of management and no corporate structure. You’ll work directly alongside the founder, helping drive and execute deals from instruction through to completion. Most importantly, this is not a coordination or admin role. We are specifically looking for someone who can personally run residential conveyancing transactions end-to-end with minimal supervision. You do not need to be formally qualified, but you do need genuine execution capability.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Running residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish
- Managing investor-led and back-to-back deals
- Liaising directly with agents, brokers and external solicitors
- Resolving issues proactively and keeping deals moving
- Handling the practical day-to-day execution of transactions in-house
- Supporting deal progression across multiple simultaneous transactions
Alongside the conveyancing side, you’ll also gain direct exposure to the commercial side of property investing:
- Speaking with agents daily
- Spotting and assessing opportunities
- Attending auctions, PIN meetings and networking events
- Supporting sourcing, structuring and progression of deals
- Learning how deals are actually monetised
Some days are paperwork-heavy. Others you’ll be out in the market.
This Role Is NOT Suitable For:
- Conveyancing coordinators
- Pure sales progressors
- Managers who only oversee teams
- Candidates without hands-on transaction execution experience
- Anyone needing significant supervision or structure
You must be comfortable personally handling the work yourself.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven hands-on residential conveyancing experience
- Ability to independently progress transactions end-to-end
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, non-corporate environment
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mentality
- Commercially minded and interested in property investing
- Able to manage pressure, pace and multiple moving parts simultaneously
Formal legal qualifications are not required. However, practical execution experience is essential.
Why This Role Is Different:
Most conveyancing roles keep you far away from the commercial side of property. This role gives you direct exposure to:
- how deals are sourced
- how opportunities are identified
- how investor deals are structured
- how money is actually made in property
You’ll work closely with someone who has been successfully operating in the market for over 40 years. There is genuine mentorship and commercial exposure here - not just more files to process.
The Environment:
- Founder-led and entrepreneurial
- Fast-moving and highly hands-on
- Non-corporate and direct
- At times chaotic
- Built around getting deals done
This suits someone who enjoys autonomy, pace and responsibility - not someone looking for a highly structured legal environment.
Package:
- Up to £60k base salary
- £200 per completed deal
- 25% profit share on sourced deals
- Realistic £100k+ earning potential
