A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced partnerships professional to join one of the UK’s most ambitious cultural organisations, responsible for securing high value global brand partnerships that support large scale cultural programming and venues. This role will focus on developing and closing five, six and seven figure partnerships with global brands and agencies, aligned to a strategy of fewer, bigger, better partnerships as part of a long term commercial growth plan. Working closely with the Partnerships Director and Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead prospecting, pipeline development and negotiation of complex multi year brand partnerships while helping shape the organisation’s commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing a pipeline of major partnership opportunities across multiple sectors
  • Identifying and initiating relationships with brands, agencies and commercial partners through research, networking and outreach
  • Creating compelling sales materials and visually strong partnership decks tailored to brand objectives
  • Presenting partnership opportunities to senior brand and agency stakeholders
  • Negotiating complex partnership agreements and multi year contracts
  • Using audience insight, research and data to strengthen partnership proposals and storytelling
  • Collaborating with internal teams across programming, marketing and commercial functions to develop market ready opportunities

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A proven track record delivering high value brand partnerships and sponsorship deals, typically five, six or seven figures
  • Experience prospecting, building pipelines and closing complex commercial agreements
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders within global brands and agencies
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify strategic partnership opportunities
  • Experience creating high quality pitch materials and partnership proposals
  • Knowledge of the partnerships landscape across culture, media, events, sport, entertainment or creative industries
  • A creative mindset with the ability to turn organisational assets into compelling brand opportunities
