Post-Company Acquisition AI-Powered PropTech Start-up | UK-wide, extensive travel, Hybrid/1 day wk in London | £80,000 + Equity
Backed by leading VC investors, this start-up is building the UKs first AI-enabled roll-up of property service companies. Multiple acquisitions are done, dozens more are planned, and integration is the value-creation strategy. Every acquired business arrives with its own systems, processes, people and ways of working - some tight, some held together by spreadsheets and institutional knowledge. This role exists to bridge that gap. These are small, owner-run businesses, not big-company transformation projects. You won't have an IT department, a programme office or an existing playbook behind you - you'll build one, one business at a time.
What you'll do:
- Own newly acquired businesses from deal completion through to full integration, embedded on-site across the UK for as long as it takes
- Get into the real detail - processes, systems, suppliers, people - not just the CRM migration or the ledger
- Protect what's working, fix what isn't, and roll out new systems and AI-enabled ways of working that remove manual burden
- Be the trusted face of the business on-site through a period of real change
- Help build a repeatable integration playbook as the acquisition programme scales
What we need:
- Hands-on mobilisation or integration experience - block/property management, post-acquisition integration, multi-site ops, hospitality openings, franchise/roll-up mobilisation, or PE/VC portfolio operations
- A genuine all-rounder who's personally delivered change across a whole business - people, finance, facilities, operations — not just systems or finance migration alone
- Comfortable with ambiguity and no fixed playbook, no IT department or dedicated team behind you; confident challenging 'how it's always been done'
- 3-7 years experience
- Happy travelling extensively across the UK, with min one day a week in London
Not for you if your 'integration' experience is governance forums and RAID logs, limited to one function of a deal, or built inside a large, well-resourced corporate integration function with an existing methodology and IT programme already in place. Property, facilities, housing or fragmented-services background is a strong plus - but proof you can personally deliver end-to-end, at small-business scale, matters more than job title.
