A rare opportunity to join a venture-backed, AI-first business that is redefining how a fragmented UK service sector consolidates and grows. Backed by leading technology investors and founded by the team behind one of the UK's most successful digital businesses in the sector, this high-growth company is building the UK's first AI-enabled buy-and-build platform. Through strategic acquisitions and technology-led transformation, it is creating a modern group of specialist service businesses at pace.
With multiple acquisitions already completed and an active pipeline of future deals, the business is entering a significant growth phase. Marketing sits at the centre of that strategy.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional marketing role. You'll own two critical growth engines simultaneously:
- Generating new client opportunities across a portfolio of operating businesses
- Building awareness and pipeline among business owners considering succession, partnership or sale
You'll have responsibility for the entire marketing lifecycle - strategy, execution, optimisation and reporting. One day you'll be launching paid acquisition campaigns. The next you'll be building landing pages, testing messaging, running direct mail campaigns or creating AI-powered workflows to accelerate growth. This is a genuine hands-on role for someone who enjoys building rather than managing layers of agencies or internal teams.
The business offers significant autonomy, direct exposure to the leadership team, meaningful budget responsibility and a clear route towards a future Head of Marketing position.
Key Responsibilities
Client Growth
- Develop and optimise paid acquisition campaigns across digital channels
- Build and improve high-converting landing pages and lead-generation funnels
- Own SEO, content and nurture marketing activity
- Continuously test, learn and optimise campaign performance
- Implement clear attribution, reporting and performance tracking
M&A Marketing
- Develop campaigns targeting business owners and acquisition prospects
- Execute direct mail, email, LinkedIn and content-led outreach programmes
- Build long-term nurture strategies for future acquisition opportunities
- Support thought leadership, PR, events and sector positioning initiatives
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on messaging and market engagement
Across Both Areas
- Leverage AI extensively across research, content, segmentation, campaign creation and analysis
- Own and optimise the marketing technology stack
- Manage specialist agencies and freelancers where appropriate
- Maintain clear visibility of marketing's contribution to pipeline and growth
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded growth marketer who enjoys execution as much as strategy. You’ll likely bring:
- 6+ years' experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing or demand generation
- Proven success running paid acquisition campaigns, particularly Google Ads
- Experience building landing pages and conversion-focused marketing funnels
- Strong copywriting and campaign development skills
- Confidence using marketing automation, CRM and analytics platforms
- An AI-first mindset and curiosity about emerging technologies
- A highly analytical, self-directed approach to problem solving
Particularly attractive backgrounds include:
- PropTech or property-related services
- SaaS, technology or venture-backed scale-ups
- Private equity, M&A or buy-and-build environments
- Businesses operating across multiple brands or customer segments
Why Join?
- Build and shape a marketing function with genuine ownership from day one
- Work directly with experienced founders and investors
- Join a business using AI as a core competitive advantage
- Gain exposure to both customer acquisition and M&A marketing
- Receive performance-based rewards and equity participation
- Clear progression path to Head of Marketing as the organisation scales
If you're a hands-on growth marketer who enjoys building, experimenting and seeing the direct impact of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
