This job opportunity is working for one of the most exciting early-stage foodtech startups in London right now, building the operational and logistics infrastructure behind modern workplace catering. Having scaled rapidly over the past few years, they’re now looking for a Product Designer to help shape the next stage of the platform across a highly operational, multi-sided product environment.
This is not a role where you’ll just be polishing UI inside a large corporate product team. This is a genuinely high-impact opportunity within a fast-growing startup that is still early enough for individual hires to have real influence over the product, technology and wider company direction. You won’t be joining a heavily layered corporate environment or maintaining legacy systems with little visibility over impact. The team is lean, collaborative and highly product-focused, with close working relationships across founders, product, engineering and operations.
There is genuine opportunity to:
- Build products and systems from the ground up
- Shape how the platform evolves as the business scales
- Solve complex real-world operational problems
- Influence product direction and decision-making
- Operate with high ownership and autonomy
- Work closely with founders and senior stakeholders
- Have visible impact quickly
The environment suits people who enjoy startup pace, ambiguity and ownership, and who are motivated by building meaningful products within ambitious, fast-moving teams. It’s particularly well suited to individuals who prefer execution over bureaucracy, enjoy solving operational and workflow challenges, and want to help shape not just a product, but how a business grows.
You’ll work directly with founders, engineering and product to design experiences across:
- Employer account management
- Marketplace ordering journeys
- Logistics and fulfilment workflows
- Supplier and maker tooling
- Internal operational platforms
You’ll be involved in:
- End-to-end product design
- User journeys and workflows
- Research and rapid testing
- Product experimentation
- Early-stage design systems
- Cross-functional product collaboration
Tech/product environment:
- Figma
- Product-led team
- Lean, highly collaborative culture
- Fast iteration and shipping
- Direct access to founders and decision-making
Essential background:
- 2+ years product/UX design experience
- Startup or fast-moving product environment experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred thinking
- Experience designing operational, marketplace or workflow-heavy products
