We’re working with a high-growth, technology-led property business that’s scaling rapidly through acquisition and operational transformation. This is not a traditional accounting role. You’ll take full ownership of a residential portfolio, sitting at the centre of finance and operations - ensuring accuracy, control and visibility as the business grows, while also shaping how client accounting is done at scale. You’ll initially run client accounting on the acquired portfolios, then move into driving integration and system rollout as the platform grows.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning service charge accounting across a portfolio end-to-end
- Partnering closely with property and operations teams
- Managing client accounts, reconciliations, budgets and year-end processes
- Overseeing supplier payments and financial controls
- Acting as the go-to for all financial queries across your portfolio
- Contributing to the development of systems, processes and best practice as the business scales
Why this role stands out:
- Real ownership - not just processing
- High-growth environment with a rapidly expanding portfolio
- Opportunity to influence systems, tools and processes
- Close collaboration with senior stakeholders
- A chance to help define what “good” looks like in client accounting at scale
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in client accounting within residential block / property management
- Strong understanding of service charge accounting, reconciliations and client money
- Confident managing multiple accounts with accuracy and control
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A proactive, ownership mindset
- AAT (Levels 2–4) or qualified by direct industry experience
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in growth environments, and wants to move beyond pure processing into a more impactful, commercially aware role.
