Project Manager – Water Infrastructure Projects – Freelance

Minimum 6 Month Term – Potential for Ongoing Work – Immediately

Day Rate – Negotiable

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead challenging water sector projects, including pipelines, storage tanks, main diversions, and interception works. You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality, while fostering strong client

and team relationships.

Your role:

• Manage all project stages, from design to completion, including planning, cost control, and risk management.
• Lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee HSE compliance.
• Deliver innovative, buildable solutions for complex water infrastructure projects.
• Ensure high-quality documentation, client satisfaction, and effective reporting.

You bring:

• Extensive experience in civil/water projects, ideally pipelines and water infrastructure (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM, risk, and cost management.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), with CSCS, SMSTS, and NEBOSH.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
