The Role
As a Leakage Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and locating water leaks across the network, helping to reduce leakage and maintain the efficiency of the water supply system. Typical duties may include:
- Carrying out leakage detection and investigation
- Using leakage detection equipment and techniques
- Investigating suspected leaks across the water network
- Carrying out step testing and associated leakage activities
- Recording findings accurately
- Working safely in accordance with company and client procedures
- Liaising with colleagues, customers and site teams where required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in water leakage detection or a similar water industry role
- A good understanding of water networks and leakage detection techniques
- A strong health & safety awareness
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
Water industry experience is essential, although candidates with relevant transferable experience may also be considered.
