A Tier 1 Contractor that has spent the last 2 years in an exciting rebuild, already achieving huge success with Thames Water have entered their next phase of growth and are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Thames Valley.
With over 40 Waste Water schemes and a major project awarded for AMP8, they have an excellent workload of design and build non-infrastructure work for Thames Water.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of a section of a large project or on several smaller projects, with a focus on:
- Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.
- Ensure that any main contracts entered have terms and conditions that are appropriate for the business, with commercial risks identified.
- Effectively assist in managing the commercial team, including cost clerks and commercial support staff
- Supervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors.
