As Site Agent, you'll manage the delivery of civil and water projects from planning to completion — ensuring safety, quality, environmental compliance, and cost control. Working closely with the Contracts/Project Manager, engineers, and QS teams, you'll ensure projects meet client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site operations to deliver projects safely, on time, and to spec.
- Manage Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen as required.
- Produce and implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and Waste Management Plans.
- Oversee programmes, 2-week lookaheads, and procurement schedules.
- Maintain cost control, maximise project value, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
- Act as key client liaison, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication.
- Prepare accurate reports, site diaries, and chair weekly meetings.
Performance Measures:
- Timely reporting and KPI achievement.
- Adherence to quality, safety, and commercial targets.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong experience in civil engineering (water sector preferred).
- Knowledge of CDM, design, risk, and cost management.
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS, IOSH Managing Safely/SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, and Confined Space training.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- CEng MICE or equivalent.
- Experience with Primavera P6, JCT/NEC contracts.
- Additional Temporary Works qualifications.
