Urban Connect are currently supporting an established engineering design consultancy, recruiting for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer. They have recently been acquired by a major Contractor within the Water sector, leading to a range of projects on the AMP8 framework. Your role will involve designing and delivering complex engineering solutions, ensuring safety & quality standards are met, and managing a team of CAD technicians and junior designers. You’ll work on diverse projects, from foundations and earthworks to reinforced concrete and structural assessments, in addition: Oversee and mentor junior engineers, guiding them in their professional development. Work closely with project teams to estimate hours for design packages and manage work processes effectively. This business have worked hard to establish an inclusive and autonomous culture, offering a great deal of training, mentorship and progression.
