AI-Native and Digital Transformation consultancy require a Lead Cloud Architect (AWS Lakehouse) to join their data migration project for their iGaming & Sports Betting end customer.

Contract details:

  • Start Date: Ideally ASAP but by no later than Monday 29th June 2026.
  • Determination: Outside IR35.
  • Base: Hybrid - approximately 2 to 3 days per week on site in Warrington, Cheshire.
  • Day Rate: £800 per day.
  • Duration: 3 months initially with extension highly likely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct current state assessment — architecture, data flows, and technical debt.
  • Identify and articulate blockers, both technical and organisational.
  • Define and own the target architecture through to delivery.
  • Act as the senior technical voice throughout the engagement.
  • Bridge the domain knowledge and AWS skills gap within the client team.
  • Challenge existing approaches where necessary and build confidence in the path forward.

Criteria:

  • Be immediately available or have a maximum of a 1 week notice period.
  • Excellent communicator with gravitas to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • A background in hands-on technical development and engineering roles.
  • iGaming and Sports Betting industry experience. Understanding of regulated environments.
  • AWS data platform: S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, EKS experience.
  • Lakehouse architecture and migration delivery at scale experience.
  • Experience with AI tools and processes to enable operational efficiency.
