My client, an institution in the Global Architectural Design consulting sector, requires an articulate and technically proficient 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their central London office as part of their global Support team (Manchester, London & Toronto). This role has a hybrid working pattern where you will work from the Central London office 3 days per week (flexible days) and 2 days from home.
As the successful applicant, you will have held a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer role currently/previously for at least 1 year and have technical experience with:
- Microsoft Operating Systems and MS Teams.
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Networks across LAN, WAN, WIFI, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
- PowerShell.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary escalation point for the in-house 1st Line team.
- Handling and resolving incidents and logged requests through the in-house IT Service Management platform (ITSM).
- Networking monitoring.
- Maintaining user security across devices and user accounts.
