HSEQ Manager – North West – Water Sector (AMP8 Framework)

The Role

As an HSEQ Manager, you will ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management systems across multiple projects on the United Utilities AMP8 Framework. Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, you will support site teams through inspections, identify hazards, minimise risks, and improve HSEQ standards. You will lead initiatives in the region, ensuring adherence to legislation.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent), ideally IOSH
• CEnv (or equivalent), ideally Associate IEMA
• Experience in HSEQ management, ideally in Civil Engineering or the Water Industry
• Strong client-facing, communication, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Proficiency in MS Office and a CSCS Safety Professional card
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high standard of attention to detail
• Passion for HSEQ and the ability to lead by example.
