We are recruiting experienced CAT 1 and CAT 2 Electrical Installation personnel to support power and infrastructure projects across the South of England.
These opportunities are suited to candidates with strong electrical installation backgrounds, ideally up to Supervisor level, with experience working on utility, industrial, or infrastructure projects involving transformers and substations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works on LV/HV infrastructure projects
- Install and terminate cables, switchgear, panels, and associated equipment
- Support installation and commissioning activities
- Supervise installation teams and subcontractors where required
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with project specifications
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Work collaboratively with site management and operational teams
- Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical installation works
- Experience working up to Supervisor level preferred
- CAT 1 or CAT 2 competency/certification
- Experience within utilities, power, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work and site procedures
- Ability to work effectively within live operational environments
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working on SSE or SSEN projects/frameworks
- Transformer installation experience
- Substation construction or installation experience
- HV/LV cable installation and termination
- Switchgear installation experience
- Experience on DNO or utility framework projects
- ECS / CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS qualifications advantageous
