Having secured a number of long term frameworks and some technically challenging projects, there is now a serious need to increase their management team in the Midlands. About the role:
- As a Contract Manager, you will be the front face of the business in the eyes of their clients.
- Working with regional teams and internal specialists, you will oversee the development of effective scheme design through the stage gate process.
- You will also work closely with their clients throughout the early contractor involvement to explore commercial and operational improvements, bringing in innovation from our wider business.
- Ensuring the regional contracts are mobilised in a timely and effective manner with detailed embedded plans, including close attention to health and safety.
- Ensuring commercial systems and processes have been approved in accordance with all contract requirements.
- Actively engage with business improvement and change management programmes and champion best practice.
- Carry out customer satisfaction measurement ensuring any improvements or actions are communicated to them.
What will you bring?
- Previous experience in a Contract Manager position is highly desirable.
- Degree or equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a similar Construction related qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and a real ability to communicate up and down the business and clients.
- Experience in managing change and an ability to demonstrate a high level of behavioural adaptability.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to deliver tasks to deadlines.
- IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to lead by and set an example.
- Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers.
