We are currently recruiting an experienced Highways Concrete Repair Supervisor for ongoing day shift work on a live highway project in the Banbury area.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising concrete repair and reinstatement works on live highway projects
  • Managing site operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
  • Coordinating daily activities, resources, and work programmes
  • Monitoring quality standards and ensuring repairs meet project specifications
  • Conducting site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
  • Liaising with site management, engineers, and traffic management teams
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
  • Identifying and resolving site issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising concrete repair works within the highways sector
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (essential)
  • Highways Passport and relevant highways tickets preferred
  • Strong understanding of concrete repair techniques, reinstatement works, and quality control procedures
  • Experience working on live carriageways and within traffic‑managed environments
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to health & safety standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
  • Full PPE required
