Urban Connect are currently supporting a leading global engineering business, scaling their BIM/Revit team on the back of an increase in workload. This is a highly technical business, working mostly within the Defence and Pharmaceutical sectors. This is a great opportunity to work alongside an extremely established Revit team, whilst working with premium end user clients on some challenging and interesting projects.
Main Duties/responsibilities Of The Role Will Include:
- Using templates, create new Revit and CAD Sheets
- Produce and amend MEP models and drawings based on engineers mark ups
- Performing model exports, including ifc, nwc, dwfx, dwg and pdf exports
- Drive the business forward and contribute to BIM Innovation.
Experience And Education:
- Sound understanding of Revit MEP functionality including modelling systems, creating and working with schedules, creating Sheets.
- Be SC Cleared or have the ability to be SC Cleared
- Understanding of naming conventions
- Understanding of BIM Coordination with strong communication skills
This business are happy for someone to work remotely, with some office visits required, they have a number of offices across the North of the UK where this could be based.
