We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a growing delivery team working on infrastructure and utility projects across the Crewe region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering projects, with previous experience delivering works within the water or wastewater sector highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations on civil engineering projects.
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Managing site documentation, permits, RAMS, and reporting requirements.
- Supporting project delivery from mobilisation through to completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the civil engineering sector.
- Previous experience working on water, wastewater, utility, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site management best practice.
- SMSTS certification (essential).
- CSCS Card (essential).
- First Aid at Work certification (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
