We are seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor to support the delivery of water infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, you will assist project and site teams in maintaining high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality, ensuring compliance with company systems and current legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing HSEQ professional to gain hands‐on experience across a variety of site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site teams with day‐to‐day HSEQ matters and provide practical advice.
  • Assist with site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Help monitor and report on HSEQ performance, trends, and KPIs.
  • Promote occupational health, safety, and environmental awareness across projects.
  • Contribute to toolbox talks, safety alerts, and learning communications.
  • Support the development and review of risk assessments and method statements.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards).
  • About 1–3 years' experience in HSEQ within civil engineering, utilities, or construction.
  • Good understanding of HSEQ principles, legislation, and best practice.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
  • CSCS Safety Professional card (preferred).
  • A collaborative, detail‐focused approach with a genuine passion for safety and quality.

Desirable:

  • IOSH or Associate IEMA membership.
  • Previous experience on water or infrastructure frameworks.

  • Base salary is generous and commensurate with experience.
  • Car allowance.
