KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commercial Negotiation & Tier 1 Liaison: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for Tier 1 contractors and Joint Ventures. Support all contract negotiations, manage variations, and administer all processes with high rigour while adding value and insights to opportunity and deal management.
  • Operational Governance & Reporting: Own the end-to-end business administration, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and complex customer performance reports. Ensure 100% accuracy and professional standards in all business documentation.
  • AU-UK Compliance Management: Provide and deliver the support required to manage the commercial reality of an international business. Add value and insight to utilise specialist advisors and maintain a robust audit trail for compliance.
  • Deal Architecture: Support the sales and business development teams by engineering commercially defensible deal structures. Translate conceptual deliverables into iron-clad contracts with defined milestones and risk mitigations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Proactively identify revenue leakage and implement systems to maximise profit. Manage the commercial backend as a high-performance, cost-neutral machine.
  • Delivery Support: Ensure deliverables and production are structured and documented to defend and demonstrate RoI and invoicing.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Professional Tenure: Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or business management within the infrastructure, engineering, or high-end consultancy sectors.
  • Tier 1 Expertise: Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and variations with major agencies and Tier 1 contractors.
  • Australian-UK Experience: Experience working between these jurisdictions in relation to tax and consulting.
  • Analytical Rigour: Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to business systems, financial reporting, and documentation. An excel, documentation and filing genius.
  • Tactical Strategic Agility: The ability to move between high-level commercial strategy and hands-on administrative excellence with poise and authority.
