Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor in the Specialty Coffee Industry. You will be responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of our specialty coffee shop. You will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain high-quality standards, and create a positive and engaging work environment. If you have a passion for specialty coffee, proven leadership skills, and a strong track record in the industry.
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and team management.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, maintaining product quality, and promptly resolving customer concerns or issues.
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of coffee enthusiasts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement operational strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and merchandise, placing orders as necessary to maintain product availability.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Uphold the quality and consistency of coffee preparation, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing guidance to the team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry or a similar management role.
- Proficiency in espresso extraction, including grind adjustment, dosing, and tamping techniques.
- Skill in creating and pouring latte art designs, showcasing attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
