This post is a creative role responsible for delivering marketing strategy, which enables our company to meet the long-term objectives in an effective and professional manner. The role will lead on both specific and general marketing activities for the Society (including the website and brand) and hold responsibility for arrangement of both online and offline activities, either on campus or in local society.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking a lead role in branding plans, and operating company social media accounts on a day-to-day basis;
- Developing and maintaining long‑term relationships with multiple channels, such as university accommodation offices, letting agents and online renting platforms;
- Managing budgets, arranging and attending both online and offline activities and adjusting marketing activities in line with new developments;
- Promoting campus activities, developing the student ambassador project and managing the student ambassador team;
- Liaising with sales team when there are requests via social media accounts, channels, or activities;
- Analysis of competitors.
Requirements:
- 3 years working experience in a marketing field in an online business;
- An ability to think strategically and use initiative to drive growth;
- Highly organised and ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard;
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, including report writing;
- Presentation skills - able to clearly present plans and recommendations;
- Strong project management skills - planning and prioritisation;
- Bachelor degree or above qualified in a relevant field, i.e. marketing and advertising.
