We are seeking a creative and highly organised Project Design Assistant to support our Projects department. This role focuses on liaising with internal teams to obtain property images and transforming them into compelling "before and after" visual concepts that clearly communicate the benefits of major works and decorative enhancements.

You will design professional reports and templates, edit photographs to illustrate potential improvements and support the sales process by presenting specifications in a visually engaging manner. The role also includes invoicing for completed work, following up on payments and providing general administrative support as required. This is a remote role suitable for a Cape Town-based candidate who thrives in a structured yet fast-paced environment and has a strong eye for design, detail and presentation.

  • Edit and enhance photographs to visually demonstrate proposed major works and decorative improvements.
  • Liaise with various departments to coordinate property photography within agreed timeframes.
  • Draft correspondence and assist with marketing brochures where required.
  • Review and process documentation, maintaining accurate records and diarising follow-ups.
  • Liaise professionally with directors, landlords, and tenants regarding proposed works and products.
  • Prepare and issue invoices for completed design work and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Projects team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
Requirements
  • Graphic Design qualification or similar.
  • Own licensed access to graphic design software (e.g., "Adobe Photoshop" or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in photo editing and producing visually appealing reports.
  • Strong proficiency in MS365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Must reside in Cape Town, within travelling distance to Stellenbosch.
  • Previous accounting and invoicing experience.
  • Experience in client relationship management and service delivery.
  • Experience in residential property management or a related field.
Additional Requirements
  • Available for a trial day as part of the recruitment process.
  • Loadshedding solution (e.g., UPS, battery backup, inverter, etc.).

Salary: R10,000 per month (half-day role, dependent on experience). Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–13:00 (SA time). 15 days annual leave plus South African public holidays. Ongoing training and development opportunities. Fully remote role with occasional office visit requirement.

We are committed to equality, diversity, and mutual respect. Candidates must have the legal right to work in South Africa. The company reserves the right not to fill this position.
