The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and committed Deputy Principal to work in close partnership with the Principal to lead the next phase of school improvement at Upwell Academy. This is a pivotal leadership role with significant influence across the school. You will help drive high standards in teaching, learning and behaviour, while contributing strategically to the continued development of the school. The role includes a 0.5 teaching commitment, enabling you to remain closely connected to classroom practice while having dedicated time to lead, develop staff and drive improvement. As part of your responsibilities, you will take on the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of care and protection for all pupils.
