We are looking for Support Workers to join our supported living services in the West Midlands in Walsall.
Responsibilities
The Support Worker will support vulnerable adults in their own homes, providing support to individuals in a person‑centred way which includes various activities such as shopping, cooking, assisting with personal care and administering medication.
You will need to maintain care and support skills as detailed within the individual care plans and risk assessments. Record keeping and communication skills are essential to ensure effective teamwork to meet people’s needs. You will be required to undertake necessary training and development as time-to‑time to develop your career.
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally you will have previous experience working within a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people and hold NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification. Applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values we seek are welcome.
