Responsibilities
- Support vulnerable adults in their own homes in a person-centred way, including activities such as shopping, cooking, assisting with personal care and administering medication.
- Maintain care, support and management skills as detailed within individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Record keeping and communication to ensure effective teamwork and meet people’s needs.
- Undertake training and development as necessary to progress in your role.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally previous experience in a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people.
- NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification; applications from candidates with no experience but who demonstrate caring qualities and values are welcome.
About the role
The job involves delivering the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager and Registered Provider, relevant regulations, and best practice.
